You can study the words and then take the test. I have been simply taking the test and I have found that even without studying, just by taking the test, pausing after I've gotten a few wrong, and starting again, I have the opportunity to practice again. This is better than going through the whole 2000+ words ConsFor some reason, the dictate part doesn't work. I don't know why.
Also, the interface is pretty basic, nothing exciting or interesting. But for simply learning the words, it works well.
